1.    How do I best prepare for my phone screen or interview with SES Space & Defense?
          Do your research; practice explaining professional experiences and challenges; prepare to describe any relevant skills, people, processes, timelines, or regulations that would facilitate success in the role applied for. 

2.    How long does it take to complete the online application?
          The application is quick and easy; just a few minutes of your time.

3.    Will I receive progress updates on my application?
         You can expect to receive an email both upon receipt of your application and at the conclusion of the process. In addition, our recruiter will be in contact with you if you are qualified for the position and identified as a candidate to engage in further discussion.

4.    Can I apply for more than one position?
         You can apply for as many positions as you’d like; just make sure it’s suitable for you.

5.    Will you inform me if I’m not successful?
         Yes, all candidates will receive an email at the conclusion of the process, whether successful or not.

6.    How do I update my online profile details?
         Simply go to "Job Opportunities" on the careers.sessd.com page, click on "View my Profile" - log on, change your details and save. If your details have changed since your last application, make sure they are updated before applying for another position.

7.    Do you offer relocation packages?
         For some roles, we consider relocations packages where it is necessary. If you would like to request relocation assistance, please notify your recruiter.

8.    Can I work remotely?
         The majority of our positions are hybrid, with offices based in Reston, VA, or Tampa, FL. We operate a role-based flexible working policy to be agreed upon with your line manager and aligned with business needs. 

9.    Do all positions require US Citizenship?
         While you do not always need US Citizenship, it is likely to be required that you are considered a US Person which means “any United States citizen or alien admitted for permanent residence in the United States.”

10.    How do I learn about future openings?
         Once you search for a suitable job on the careers.sessd.com page, you can create a Job Alert by clicking on "Create Job Alert".  You can view or delete all created Job Alerts by clicking on "Options" within your Candidate Profile. Job Alerts expire six months after they are created and you can create up to fifteen.
