Engineer, Software (Grade P9)

Position Summary

We are seeking a Software Engineer to contribute to the development of full-stack solutions as part of a cross-functional team operating in an Agile environment. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with both front-end and back-end technologies and be comfortable collaborating with team members and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software.

In this role, the engineer will work closely with other developers, designers, and product owners to build and maintain scalable systems and enterprise applications. Strong communication skills and a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) within Agile/Scrum frameworks are essential.

Primary Job Responsibilities

· Experience with front-end and back-end development

· Familiarity with security standards and best practices

· Ability to design, develop, test, and document software components

· Collaborates effectively with cross-functional teams

· Writes clear technical documentation and communicates designs

· Contributes to API development, data integration, and responsive UI

· Participates in code reviews, debugging, and Agile ceremonies

· Stays current with emerging technologies and development practices

Required Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field

· 3–5 years of experience with JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular)

· 3+ years of experience with CSS and layout frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation)

· Experience developing or configuring ITSM, CSM, or CRM SaaS platforms

· Familiarity with modern software design principles and SDLC

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

· Experience with containerization (e.g., Docker) and virtualization tools

· Proficient in Git for version control and collaboration

· Familiarity with relational and non-relational databases

· Basic understanding of authentication, networking, and software security

· Working knowledge of microservice architecture and deployment practices

· Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS3, and layout frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Foundation)

· Exposure to JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular) and front-end tooling (e.g., Webpack, TypeScript)

· Experience with JavaScript testing tools (e.g., Mocha, Jasmine)

· Comfortable with browser testing and debugging

· Understanding of the full development lifecycle from design to deployment

· Awareness of layout aesthetics and responsive design principles

· Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
