Internship – Strategic Initiatives
Hybrid from Reston, VA 

ROLE DESCRIPTION
This is an exciting opportunity to become part of the Strategic Initiatives Team here at SES Space & Defense where we are driven by our passion to deliver best-in-class satellite network solutions, products, and services! You will be a key member of the team, leading projects and collaborating cross-departmental to manipulate, clean, and present multiple sets of data.  

Based in our Reston, VA office, you will support our Strategy team with a number of tasks with a large focus on understanding the concept of a selling organization, and the role that we play in bringing our strategy to life. You should be prepared to work in a diverse team with a readiness to highlight your persuasive presentation skills!

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Market Research: Conduct thorough research to identify potential local business partners within the community and local area that would add value to our company and residents.
• Outreach and Communication: Initiate contact with potential partners through various channels, including in-person meetings, email, and phone calls. Craft compelling messages and presentations to communicate the benefits of the partnership.
• Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams and the local community team to execute partnership initiatives. Provide feedback and insights to improve partnership strategies.

YOUR PROFILE
Must Haves

• Rising junior or senior in a related Undergraduate Program
• Ability to build relationships and drive successful partnerships
• Understanding of analytical storytelling and ability to pivot from lessons learned to improve partnership making
• High energy and “can-do” attitude
• Able to work in United States
• Fluency in spoken and written English 

Nice to Haves

• Prior experience in customer services or sales
• Fluency in other languages
