Junior Platform Developer

POSITION SUMMARY

Kickstart your tech career as a Junior Platform Developer on a collaborative Agile team, building modern web features for platforms like ServiceNow and Salesforce. You'll design intuitive user interfaces, write clean code using JavaScript and CSS frameworks, and contribute to every stage of the development lifecycle—from planning to deployment.
This role is perfect for recent grads with a solid foundation in web technologies, strong problem-solving skills, and a desire to grow in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Bonus points if you're curious about cloud computing, containerization, or working on federal tech projects!

PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Collaborate with team members throughout the Agile development lifecycle, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews, to understand project requirements and contribute to development efforts
• Develop, document, and test web components and features for the ServiceNow and/or Salesforce applications
• Design and build user interfaces that are intuitive, modern, and aligned with UI/UX best practices
• Interact with technical management, other developers, and support personnel to coordinate technical activities and progress
• Contribute to the implementation of security standards and controls within the platform development process
• Provide support to end-users and clients as needed to ensure smooth and efficient application performance
• Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Continuously learn and improve coding skills and stay updated on emerging technologies and development trends

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, OR related technical experience with a minimum of 2 years of experience
• Understanding of modern web technologies, development tools, and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
• 1 or more years of experience with JS Frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue)
• 1 or more years of experience with CSS and CSS Frameworks
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS (with one or more)

• Understanding of Cloud Computing (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
• Understanding of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience in the Satcom industry
• Experience working on Federal Government and DoD contracts

The starting base salary range for this full-time position is $65,000.00 - $75,000.00 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
